ODE TO MY IGGY

The humans they do train,
to abide their every wish.
From a bellyrub or pet,
to their favorite salad dish.

At just the right temp,
to the tub for a soak.
To splash and play and poop,
"now clean it up, what a good bloke!"

Four feet of lizard,
in his funny green suit.
Why don't more people,
think they are so cute?

I enjoy my herp bud
though he can be quite a chore.
But he has a dear soul,
that I've come to adore!
